The holiday house is located close to the water, in a quiet part of the Fjord. It is an ideal base for fishing, with a small quay, where also the boat is.

General information

When you enter the holiday house, you arrive in the entrance. From the entrance you can choose to go to the bathroom or continue in to the second entrance, were you will find the stairs up to the second floor.  In the first floor you also have the living room and the kitchen. The kitchen and the living room are not separated, giving a large and comfortable room. 

Bedrooms

The house has four bedrooms. One of them is located in the groundfloor and the remaining three in the second floor. In the bedroom in the first floor, there is a double-decker bed, a chair and a table. The three bedrooms in the second floor are as follows; The first bedroom contains one bed, with night table and a chair. The second bedroom has one double bed, a sleeping sofa,  a table and a chair. In the third bedroom, there are two single beds (can be set together for a double bed), a table and a couple of chairs.

In all the bedrooms there is also a chest of drawers and in the second floor there is also a  wardrobe room.

Where is the house?

The holiday house is located almost at the end of the fjord Vanylvsfjorden. This fjord is at the north side of West Cape. At the place where the house is, the fjord is thin, but is fast getting wider. For a map, which points out the location of the cottage, please click here.

Our holiday house at Skorge is located about 50 meters from the cottage at Skorgehøgda. The cottage at Skorgehøgda is located a bit higher in the terrain and with a small "forrest" in between.

Boat

To the cottage Skorge a 17' boat with a 9,9 HP engine is available at a favourable price. The boat is located down on the Fjord, a few meters from the cottage. At the wharf where the boat is located, there is also a small lockable shed for fishing equipment as well as a table and fresh water for cleaning of the fish.
